Proper ride height measurements for '65 and '66 Mustangs, with instructions on how to obtain them.

From a May 11, 1999 posting on the Vintage Mustang Forum by Jeff Speegle, based upon a Ford bulletin.

  1. Place car on level ground.
  2. Push down on the front bumper by at least 1 inch to settle the suspension.
  3. Measurements are made at the center of the front and rear wheel wells, directly over the center of the wheel.
  4. Lift up on the bumper by 1:, let settle and repeat measuring process.
  5. Average both measurements.
  6. Repeat process on rear of car.
Note: measure the front completely before doing the rear.
